Movie poster for Architecture 101

Architecture 101 is a Korean romance movie that was a hit when it released in 2012 and also probably what brought Suzy, from K-pop group Miss A, to fame. She’s in the poster above.

A film to remember

A film to remember

With animation that grows on you, a beautifully smooth voice-over and an unforgettable man devoted to planting trees, The Man Who Planted Trees is a wonderful short animated film that will hook you for its 30 minute run.

“…rebuild the beautiful belief that even a single person, capable of only doing the smallest of actions, can do extraordinary things.”

As we approach the end of a long week, drained from work. Do take the time to watch this and rebuild the beautiful belief that even a single person, capable of only doing the smallest of actions, can do extraordinary things.

It will likely be the best 30 minutes you spend this week.

A simple yet brilliant story from Jean Giono.

Enjoy

A little bit of myself died with him, I think.

May his last moments have been free of the regret that may have plagued his characters and full of the quiet fulfillment of a life well lived.

Here’s where I first read of this.

It was a good night and needless to say I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Admittedly though, I’m a PP fanboy at this point and I can’t objectively break down the merit of the movie itself.

I mean, I’d take any Psycho-Pass I can get my hands on.

OK. Back to the movie. Here’s some of my thoughts.
